There are THREE cases in which the GPS doesn’t work well (Course Recognition Error) even though the course you have in is normally downloaded.
First! In case of turn off the GPS setting,
Please go to Connections > Location (in use) in Settings of your watch and recommend to use the watch outdoors.
Second! If the GPS sensor itself is defective,
It is the case that the course is not recognized at all or the distance information provided is wrong.
If you send us log data, we can check what is problem with you during the round of golf as well as can provide solutions.
(Run SMART CADDIE app in your watch > Tap the shape of Gear icon(or three dots) > Tap Contact Us > Tap Inquiry about Golf Round > Select Round
> Round Day you wanted > Tap Yes to agree your location information)
※ If there is a problem with the GPS sensor of your watch, please have the GPS sensor checked through a SAMSUNG Service Center.
Third! In case of course map download error,
This is a very rare case! The course map could not be downloaded normally due to a bad network or weak signal.
Please recheck the network connection or recommend you to download course map using your smartphone network.
