When there is a difference the actual distance and the measured distance,
it can be resolved by the method as the below.
However, if you still have a distance issue, please contact to GolfzonDeca Customer Center.
Before reaching us, please recheck the followings!
- Whether there are structures nearby, such as power line tower, that may interfere with the GPS signal.
- Whether the GPS sensor is turned on as shown in the image below.

How to turn on the GPS?
Go to Settings (tap gear icon) > Tap Location > Turn On > then scroll down
Tap Google Location Accuracy
Turn on Improve Location Accuracy
The GPS is affected by environment such as skyscraper around the golf course,
power line tower, weather condition, and inside usage.
As downloading golf courses, we recommend you to use ‘Search’ icon.
It is a guideline for setting & checking the distance information!
Distance Information
Provides distances to the front, center, back of the green.
In golf courses that consist left and right green, tap the [L], [R] icon on the left side of the screen to change the side of the green.
Elevation (Slope icon) shows slope adjusted distance!
Any golf course without available slope information does not display icons.
A score input screen will automatically pop up after each hole if the scorecard feature is turned on.
Score On : Automatically pop up after each hole and after completing the score input,
the distance information for the next hole will be displayed!
Score Off : When you hole out, the distance information for the next hole will be displayed and a score input screen will not pop up.
Settings related to the distance information!
You can check the setting options as the below.
- GPS reception and battery status
- Distance unit and scorecard input
- Map type (Satellite or Graphic)
- Slope On/Off
SMART CADDIE supports two distance units(meters/yards) and you can select the distance unit as you want.
The slope feature can be turned On/Off, and when it is set to On, it provides the distance reflecting the elevation information along with the icon on the left side of the screen, and when it is set to Off, it provides the straight distance only without the icon!
